Introduction to the latest Connections changes

We have detailed below the latest improvements made within Connections.

For further enquiries please contact your local Account Manager who will provide you with the latest version of your Training Guide.

This enhanced functionality will be available on Wednesday 27th September, 2006.

Quick Quote

The changes to the quick quote functionality have been made with a view to bringing the following improvements to the dealers:

  • Ability to provide a quicker quotation.
  • Implement a separate menu option to the current Do A Quotation option which will link into the proposal input flow once the user is happy with the quote.
  • Introduce changes to the vehicle selection to allow the option to have drop down vehicle lists.
  • Perform a quotation calculation without obtaining a commission request.
  • Switch between products and remodel the figures within the deal.

Agreement Number Display

The following changes have been made to Connections which will improve the manner in which the dealer network may search.

  • Application status screen will contain an agreement number display on proposals such as accepted as proposed
  • Customer search screen will be amended to include an agreement number search and remove unwanted search options
  • Customer search screen will display agreement numbers.
  • Increase the customer search display if possible.

Look & Feel Changes

The proposed changes to the look and feel of the user interface will gain the following benefits:

  • Modernise the look of the system to match new web systems currently being rolled out. The look however will remain in the current colours to keep the corporate identity of Connections.
  • Improve usability and reduce speed issues.
  • Current users should not require further training because of this change as the main navigation will not alter.
